Guro John Anthony conducted a class for the Brisbane branch of ECDPI. This was a great opportunity for John to spread his wings a little and share some of the new drills with Guro Elwyn Gabutero and his students.
The Combat Zone Martial Arts Center will hold an open day on Saturday 2 April 2011.
A free sausage sizzle, trial classes and demonstrations will be held through out the day.

ECDPI held an interim grading on Saturday 19th March. Congratulations to Michael, Tasmin & Anneliese Sierra who all passed their 3rd Class Brown Belt test.
Erwin Villafranca put on an excellent performance to receive his 1st Class Brown Belt promotion. Erwin showed us all that he is not just a good martial artist but a great entertainer too.
Master Craig Bajraktarevic-Hayward's recent nomination for the Australasian Martial Arts Hall of Fame has been accepted.
Members of ECDPI who would like to attend the Hall of Fame Ceremony in Perth on 20 August 2011 should please let Master Craig know as soon as possible so that a place can be reserved for you.
ECDPI held their first training camp this Easter at Kangaroo Valley. A small group of dedicated students joined Master Craig at the picturesque setting of Kangaroo Valley Views.
Two training sessions were held covering Pangamot and elements of sparring. The camp was a great way to unwind and practice in a relaxed setting. With enough supprort we look forward to making this an annual event.
