December 2008 BIG WEEKEND

The Big Weekend went off with out a hitch and was well received by all.

Saturday 13 December saw 34 students enjoy a great seminar with GM Anthony Kleeman.
John Anthony was particularly fortunate to feel the big man's awesome technique and skills in Kilat, Eskrido and Pangamot.





Sunday 14th saw the ECDPI's biggest ever grading with 17 students testing on the day. Congratulations go to Joash Republica who successfully endured the rigorous Black Belt test and for the first time in ECDPI history a student got to spar with brother, sister and father as part of the test.



In a display of brotherly love, Joash and Francis went toe to toe in a 2 1/2 minute dog fight before John Anthony stepped in for more punishment to complete the 5 minute test of charater and courage.
